Outlook Express Problems. Please help.

Every time I try to connect the client to download my e-mail, I get a dialog box that says "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.". Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

Is your pop server correct? Is your email provider down? Is your network working properly? Are you running a firewall? Are you running an adblocker? What version of outlook express? What version of windows? I need more information to get anywhere with that one.

Ok, gentleman. Calm down. I'm using a Hotmail account and I got it to work about 2 days ago. Maybe defragging my hard drive wasn't such a bad idea.

Hmmm, didn't think that hotmail had a pop/smpt server?
Anyone know what it is?
I would say the same as fastfing.
Are you sure that it is a hotmail account?
